Detachable-rim attachments to wheels. -A contractible transversely-split detachable rim c is sprung over the felloe b of a wood or metal wheel and is held by studs d which are pressed by springs e, or by the tyre into engagement with holes in the felloe. The studs d are locked by radial screws f having a shoulder g bearing on the felloe b. The rim c may have a removable segment. A spring washer may be used under the head of the screw f.
