Buildings.-A portable or permanent building is formed of three or more self-contained units each comprising a single apartment, the units being arranged in staggered relationship but overlapping so that through communication is obtained by end doors 5, 13. The central space may be enclosed by a roof 20 and wall 21, and the corner spaces may be roofed in to form verandahs. The units may be built of wood, brick. concrete, or other material with two or more storeys, and may be mounted on wheels or rollers.
