Abstract

177,998. Eustege, T. P. April 5, 1921. Lids.-The lid of a frying-pan is provided with an opening or openings having inwardly-projecting conical flanges 6, so that plates or other articles stacked upon the lid are warmed by the hot gases during the cooking process, and the lid can be inverted to serve as a receptacle for the cooked food. Both lid and pan may have rigidly secured handles, and the lid may be strengthened by flutings 7.
