Abstract
170,242. Aldenhoven, H. March 7, 1921. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Hand-rests.-A hand-rest for use when writing near the 'bottom of a page of a ledger &c. comprises a plate c hinged to supports d which are pivoted to slides f guided in a base a with forward extension b adapted to be pushed between the ledger &c. i and the table k. The plate c can thus be adjusted to any height or slope of the ledger with its forward edge resting on the ledger and serves as a support for the hand beyond the top of the ledger and table. The plate c may be adapted to move forwardly relatively to the base a, preferably by forming the hinge eyes on the supports d shorter than the pins f<1> on the slides f. A hole h in the plate c facilitates its operation by one finger.
