The handle b is fitted with a T-shaped head formed from a split tube..Movable within the head are pieces h, i carrying balls at the ends or otherwise rounded at the ends. These pieces may be adjusted by a right and left-handed screw f, g, on which is fixed a knurled collar e. The split tube is tightened by screws to grip the pieces afteradjustment. In modincations, the ends may screw separately into the head, or may be a good' fit in the head and be adjusted by sliding only.
