Abstract

The composition of the bath described in the parent Specification for treating viscose filaments or films is varied by substituting manganese sulphate for the aluminium sulphate. The bath now comprises manganese sulphate, sodium sulphate, and sulphuric acid, or, in place of the latter, sodium bisulphite or thiosulphate.
