Abstract

Hair-cutting appliances of safety-razor type. - A guard b, Fig. 1, for attachment to the blade of an ordinary or of a safety razor to adapt it for hair-cutting is formed from a blank, Fig. 3, bent upon itself to form a spring bow a, the part d being bent back and returned along the curve of the bow to constitute one thumb-piece for actuating the bow, the other thumb-piece being constituted by the part e. Two ears f formed by slits g are turned at right-angles to the general plane of the blank and steady the blade.
