Abstract

159,364. Andrix, H., and Lowe, W. A. Dec. 11, 1919. Locking nuts. - A resilient triangular cap or washer 7 is provided with a projection 9 to engage a key-way in the bolt 2 and has a number of curved arms 11 which are forced over the bevelled edge of the nut 4 and snap into a groove 5 formed in the nut. A peg 6 projecting from the face of the nut is adapted to engage one of an annular series of holes 10 in the washer.
