Abstract
155,903. Slater, P. C. Sept. 24, 1919. Radiators, motor-car.-An auxiliary cooling- tank a for the circulating water is provided and is connected by a pipe f to a bend d at the top of the usual radiator and by a return pipe h to the radiator or to the engine. Air-tubes b pass through the tank in the direction of travel of the car, and a steam-condensing chamber j is provided at one end of the tank. The steam enters this chamber by a pipe k, and an air vent and overflow pipe l is fitted to the chamber. The condensed steam overflows from the chamber j into the main tank a through perforations at the top of a dividing partition.
