Abstract
1533837 Apparatus for dry development of diazotype material LA CELLOPHANE 13 July 1977 [13 July 1976] 29507/77 Heading G2X Apparatus for dry development of diazotype material comprises a development chamber, having a wall 1, in which ammoniacal vapours are generated in operation to develop the diazotype material 42, guide means 16 for introducing the diazotype material into the chamber, a first heater 3 positioned to heat the introduced material in operation before it enters the chamber and a drum 6 which in operation is rotated and carries the diazotype material on its surface while in contact with the vapours, the drum containing a second heater 4 which in operation heats the outer surface 5 of the drum. The development chamber preferably comprises an ammonia feed dish 9. A thermostat 37 preferably controls heater 3 and thermostat 38 is preferably connected in series to heater 4. The apparatus preferably comprises an aspiration device 12 having an orifice 27. The apparatus preferably comprises a set of rollers 26 arranged on an axle 25 to detach material 42 from carrier 5.
