Abstract

1533432 Tuning indicators SHIN-SHIRASUNA ELECTRIC CORP 25 Feb 1976 [17 June 1975] 07489/76 Heading H3Q An FM tuning indicator has a transistor differential amplifier 5 responsive to the S-characteristic output of a frequency discriminator 4 for producing a maximum output signal (Fig. 2C, not shown) to a detector 7 such as a meter corresponding to the maximum output of an I.F. signal at its centre frequency (Fig. 2A, not shown) and the zero condition of the S characteristic (Fig. 2B, not shown). As disclosed the impedance of a FET 6 is varied depending on the D.C. component of the output of the discriminator so that this together with the output from an IF amplifier 2 cause the differential amplifier Q 1 , Q 2 to produce a maximum output signal corresponding to the tuned condition of the FM tuner 1.
