Abstract

The appts. provides control of the quantity of a base-band data signal, by detecting the phase modulation affecting the frequency of the signal. An emitter receiver has available the signal frequency (F1) reformed from the signal in question, and a reference frequency (F2) which is not modulated and close in frequency to the signal (F1) including the signal in question. The circuit includes a phase discriminator (10) receiving the signal frequency (F1) and the reference frequency (F2). A pass band filter (11) is connected to the output of the phase discriminator and a detector (12) receives the filter output.
