Abstract

1528091 Boxes F E TATTAM 19 Nov 1976 [9 Jan 1976] 00841/76 Heading B8P [Also in Division F2] The lid 14 of a collapsible box is joined to a side wall 12 by a member 30 of interlocking, e.g. trapezoidal, form which when fitted in a corresponding recess 36 in the wall 12 forms a portion of the wall, the member 30 having a plate 32 containing an aperture 34 to receive a tongue 28 of a metal strip 26 secured to the lid, or vice versa. The member 30 may be either pushed in place or be hinged (Fig. 5, not shown). In either case, three of its sides preferably have stepped edges to mate with corresponding stepped edges on the wall 12 so that an abutment surface 40 on the latter limits the insertion of the member 30.
