Abstract
1524200 Retractive switches SHARP KK 25 Sept 1975 [2 Oct 1974] 39384/75 Heading H1N An electrical switch includes a unitary metal plate which has been bent after removing portions therefrom so as to define a pushbutton key comprising a top portion 84 joined by downwardly dependent strips 86 to a lower support 88, the key being biased to a non- operative position by resilient leaf springs 82 which connect the support 88 to a base plate 18. A single base plate 98 is provided with a number of integral switch keys, each encapsulated in resin 90, and is positioned above a substrate 100 carrying comb shaped contacts 102, 104 which are bridged by a conducting rubber plate 106 when a key 90 is depressed. Numerous methods of marking a key with a desired configuration are described.
