1523630 Pile fabrics IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 16 Dec 1975 [20 Dec 1974] 51420/75 Heading DIK A process for the production of dyed materials with a fibrous surface comprises a heated roller 10 against which dyestuff 19 on a support 18 is brought into contact with a polymer 20 and bailing material 21. the vapourisable dye 19 acting on the polymer before the fibrous surface 22 is provided and stabilized by a cooling nozzle 15 and the dyestuff support carried away and wound at 17. A modification wherein two fibrous surface products are produced simultaneously is also described.
