Abstract

1523495 Ladies tights GELSENBERG FASERWERKE GmbH 29 June 1976 [5 July 1975] 27106/76 Heading A3V [Also in Division D1] Ladies tights comprise leg portions of polyamide yarn and a trunk portion of polyester filament yarn having a higher count than said polyamide yarn, the polyester filament yarn may have a count of dtex 50 to dtex 200 and a capillary number from 4 to 98. The trunk portion may be anionically dyed and may be of polyethylene terephthalate. A cotton or regenerated cellulose insert may be provided between the thighs and the tights may be knitted separately on a circular knitting machine and joined or knitted as one piece. The polyamide may continue through the trunk portion with the polyester on the outside of the garment. The trunk portion may be of pants or briefs shape.
