Abstract

1523313 Roller chain conveyer scraper GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA 30 Oct 1975 [19 Dec 1974] 44945/75 Heading B8A A one-piece cast or drop forged scraper 15 for a conveyer driven by a roller-chain 10 has a bridge portion 16 formed with a recess 17 and side ports 18 so as to fit over the chain 10 replacing the outer side pieces 12 thereof where the scraper is attached. The side ports 18 have aligned bores 19 which correspond to the bores in adjacent inner side pieces 13 so that pins 11 can be inserted to join the ports and support rollers 14. The pins 11 can be held in position by split or tapered pins 23. The scraper is concave on its working face and its bottom extends below the side ports 18.
