1518981 Clamps D C PARSONS W A PARSONS N B PIGOTT and A E FOSTER 5 June 1975 24315/75 Addition to 1479345 Heading E2B A clamp for attaching to faces of brickwork which meet in a corner comprises an element 11 shaped to fit the corner, two arms 10 slidably mounted on the element and bearing engagement portions 14 which can be hammered in between the bricks and an adjustment screw engageable with a collar 18 on element 11 for moving the engagement portions 14 together. In the embodiment of Fig 3 (not shown) the adjustment screw is replaced by one acting directly between the arms. In the clamp shown in Fig. 4 the element comprises head 31 and screw 30, adjustment of the latter causing the sliding of arms 25.
