1479345 Clamps D C PARSONS and W A PARSONS 9 Sept 1974 39318/74 Heading E2B A clamp for gripping a chimney stack or wall to mount a television pole (not shown) comprises a pair of claws 12 which are pivoted on pins 11 projecting from a saddle 10 which engages the corner of the stack, and which are caused to close into the brickwork joints by an expanding nut-and-bolt 18, 19. The pivot-projections may be on the claws instead of the saddle or any other pivot arrangement may be used. The ends of the claws may be vertically off-set by one or more brick thicknesses. To fit a flat surface, the saddle would be flat instead of L-shaped. One arm may be longer than the other.
