Abstract

1518758 Fencing C MALKMUS-DORNEMANN 20 Aug 1976 [21 Aug 1975] 34901/76 Heading EIB [Also in Division F2] A fence comprises posts 45 and fence sections 41, 43 made up of horizontal and vertical rods 26, 27, the sections being stiffened by bending at least two parallel edges into a U-formation, e.g. 27, 30, 31 in Fig. 4. The vertical edges may comprise a flat steel plate with slots for attachment to the posts (Fig. 7, not shown). A generally U-shaped coupling element (Fig. 6) with a slot 57 engaging a flange 47 on the post may be provided, it being coupled to the fencing sections by profiled plates 50 secured by bolts 51 engaging threaded holes 61, 63.
