Abstract

1518754 Sheet grippers ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY NARODNI PODNIK 26 April 1976 [30 April 1975] 16899/76 Heading B8R In a printing machine where sheets 26 are moved on to impression cylinder 2 by means of grippers carried on an oscillating shaft 9, control of the opening and closing of gripper jaws 15 is effected by two cams 11, 12 and spring-urged cam follower (17), Fig. 1 (not shown). The cams 11, 12 are fixed to rotating support 8 which is driven by toothed gears 3, 4 from the impression cylinder drive, and are independently adjustable in position on support 8 to alter the gripper cycle by means of screws (18, 19), Fig. 1. Cam-follower (17) is supported on a bolt 13 fixed to lever 20 which is in turn fixed to the control shaft 14 of chuck 15.
