Abstract

1517933 Screw caps ALBERT OBRIST AG 27 Oct 1975 [5 Nov 1974] 44075/75 Heading B8T A screw cap 3 includes one or more bead-type reinforcements 8, 8a, 8b on the last thread turn 6 or spaced therefrom, but in a position to co-operate with the container screw thread to prevent the cap from being forced off a pressurized container before it is completely unscrewed. During opening, the seal part 5 clears the container opening sufficiently for the container pressure to decrease before the cap 3 is completely unscrewed. Alternatively, beadtype reinforcements are provided in the container threads 2.
