Abstract

1513758 Dolls HASBRO DEVELOPMENT CORP 4 Dec 1975 [1 May 1975] 49773/75 Heading A6S An articulated figure toy has a hollow torso 12, a trunk 18 and legs 20 interconnected by means of a flexible one piece connector 22 which provides relative movement between the torso and legs but does not obstruct the interior of the torso. The connector comprises a ring 112 which engages a projection 110 in trunk 18, two leg portions 116 terminating in cone-shaped portions 118 which engage ball joints 152 to retain the legs in contact with the trunk, portions 120 which extend to the knee joints and further portions 126 which extend to the ankle joints. Arms comprising upper and lower parts 16, 70 pivotally connected by pin 72 are connected by pins 56 to torso 12 and have hand portions 92 connected by pins 88. The head portion 14 fits onto a hollow conical portion 43 having an internal flange adjacent its upper end to provide a stop for an enlarged cylindrical end of pin 36 to enable relative movement of conical portion 43 and head 14 to torso 12. The connector 22 may be of rubber or rubber-like material. The other components are preferably of plastic materials.
