Abstract

1513618 Heat fixing apparatus for toner images XEROX CORP 28 Oct 1976 [29 Oct 1975 (4)] 44870/76 Heading B6C A blade 120 which is urged into contact with the surface of the fixing roll of a heated pressure roll fusing apparatus to doctor release oil applied thereto, is carried by a holder assembly 110 pivotally mounted on pins 116 on a frame 103. A loading force is applied to the holder assembly 110 by leaf springs 125 acting through a support member 158, a push rod 155 and a linkage 152 on a pivot shaft of a dust shield 150. Raising of the shield 150 releases the loading force and allows removal of the assembly 110 by retracting the pins 116 using release buttons 132, 133.
