Abstract

1511903 Snap-catch ties RICHCO PLASTIC CO 24 April 1975 17101/75 Heading E2B Bundle 13 is held by a tie 11 fashioned in one piece from plastics material. Fastening is effected by a snap-catch arrangement comprising one tooth 20 on each end of the band 12, and one barb 21 on each tooth. Barbs 21 have sloping edges 24 which enable catch elements to ride over each other into and out of fastening and flat surfaces 25 to hold the tie shut; shoulders 22 cut in the band 12 prevent the band being squeezed too tight. Fig. 7 (not shown) illustrates the tie attached to a stem which has a stud fastening on the other end to enable it to be attached to a support.
