Abstract
1509098 Detergent compositions NIRO ATOMIZER AS 26 Nov 1975 [3 Dec 1974] 48695/75 Heading C5D Products for use in detergent compositions are produced by a process comprising making a melt of an alkoxylated fatty alcohol, optionally in admixture with an enzyme, pigment or dyestuff, together with 2 to 15% by weight (based on the alkoxylated alcohol) of a (C 10 -C 24 fatty acid) monoglyceride. The monoglyceride produces an improved product not subject to supercooling and having more regularly shaped particles than those produced in the absence of the monoglyceride. The alkoxylated alcohol may be an ethoxylated C 10 -C 24 fatty alcohol, e.g. a (10-90EO) mixture of cetyl and stearyl alcohols or (80EO) ethoxylated stearyl alcohol. The monoglyceride may be glycerol monopalmitate or monostearate, or mixtures thereof.
