Abstract

1505907 Rotary percussive drills FRIEDRICH DUSS MASCHINENFABRIK GmbH & CO 30 June 1975 [4 July 1974] 27503/75 Heading B3C [Also in Division B4] Rotary percussive hammer blows from a pneumatic piston 13 are transmitted to a drill 331 by means of a rod (or sleeve) 341 which is mounted in a receiving sleeve 231, which sleeve 231 is insertable in a tool receiving member 17 of the hammer. The tool is held in a locking sleeve 241, 241<SP>1</SP> axially pretensioned by a spring 28. In other embodiments the tool is held in the taper of a tool holder. To rotate the drill torque from a driving motor is transmitted by a shaft 18 to gear-wheel 17<SP>1</SP> of the tool receiving member 241, 241<SP>1</SP>.
