Abstract

1505409 Bis-(4-di-p-tolylaminophenyl) alkanes EASTMAN KODAK CO 18 Dec 1975 [20 Dec 1974] 51895/75 Heading C2C [Also in Division G2] 1,1 - Bis - (4 - di - p - tolylaminophenyl) cyclohexane is prepared by reacting an acidic solution of 4,41-dimethyl triphenylamine with cyclohexanone, washing and neutralizing the product. Other compounds prepared in similar manner have the general Formula I in which R 3 , R 4 , R 5 and R 6 are p-tolyl groups, R 7 and R 8 are H or CH 3 and R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>2</SP> are H, CH 3 , phenyl, i-propyl, i-butyl or R<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>C represents 4-t-butyl cyclohexylidene.
