Abstract

1504749 Releasable fastenings: ACCESS PLANT (HIRE & SALES) Ltd 15 Jan 1976 [28 Feb 1975] 8375/75 Heading E2A A scaffolding coupler, e.g. for attaching an outrigger frame to a work structure, has a clamp 4 at one end for securely gripping a first tubular member, and a fastening hook 6 at the other end for holding a second tubular member so that it can swivel round it. The clamp jaws 8, 10 may be pivoted at 12 and be closed by a single screw 14, or two screws may be employed. The hook end may be secured by a sliding mousing piece 28 which partly closes the hook entrance 34 until manually depressed, Alternatively a hook as described in Specification 1504748 may be employed.
