1502091 Tensioning straps G L SCHNURMACHER 30 Dec 1974 [10 Jan 1974] 33562/77 Addition to 1500000 Heading F2G [Also in Division E2] A strap-tensioning buckle is formed of a channel-shaped element 71 having a pair of transverse slots 72, 73 near one end, the free end of the strap being looped at 69 through the endmost slot 72 and back under the channel, while the other end 68 is passed as a permanent loop throngh both slots to overlie the free end and so bind it against slippage. The channel is swung counter-clockwise to tension the strap and then a pin 86 is inserted under straps 69 to hold it in place.
