Abstract

1499968 Making agricultural implements RALPH McKAY Ltd 8 April 1976 [10 April 1975] 14300/76 Heading B3A [Also in Division A1] An agricultural earth engaging shape (or sweep) is initially blanked from metal sheet into a triangular shape; is further blanked to shape, Fig. 2, and provided with punched bolt holes; is sheared along its edges; heated; shaped to its final shape, Fig. 4, in a press;, and finally oil quenched, washed, tempered, washed again, painted and dried. The initial heating may be to 1000‹ C., and the tempering at 500‹ C.
