Abstract

1497736 Toothed gearing L ROCCHI 6 June 1975 [6 June 1974] 24395/75 Heading F2Q Backlash between a gear 1 and pinion 9 is eliminated by a spring 6 which urges the teeth of the pinion 9 into engagement with the teeth of the gear 1. The spring 6 acts on a shaft 8 carrying pinion 9 and mounted in elongated slots 14 in the housing at the ends of pinion 9. The gear 1 has a stepped end portion 5 which abuts an abutment 13 in two angular positions of the gear 1.
