Abstract

1497483 Adjustable loop fastenings KADE PATENTVERWERTUNGS AG 23 Sept 1975 [23 Sept 1974 24 Sept 1974 13 Aug 1975] 39016/75 Heading E2A A fastening providing an adjustable length of strap consists of a hook 12, open or closed which is attached to one end 1b of a strap 1 via plaque 11 on the hook. The other end la is passed through the hook 12 to provide a loop. The surface of the strap is provided with a lining 4 which is provided with looped threads and this enables friction between surface 4 and the element 14, which assists in the fastening of end 1b to the plaque 11, to hold the hook in position. Threaded on the loop is member 3 which is adapted to be attached to other material such as another strip 2. The surface of element 14 is preferably provided with mushroom threads to better engage the loops.
