Abstract

1494325 Conveying sheet material EMF CORP 21 Nov 1974 [23 Nov 1973] 50505/74 Heading B8A Heading B8A A sheet S is held on a porous conveyer belt 12 by the action of airflow induced by a fan 28. There is no support surface for the upper run of the belt. In a modification (Fig. 6) a series of side-by-side non-porous belts 60 may replace the single porous belt 12. Each end-roller may be mounted at each end by flexible brackets 46 (Fig. 4).
