Abstract

1489697 Shelf supports R BOHNACKER 12 Feb 1975 [12 Feb 1974] 5955/75 Heading A4B A shelf support arm. 16 has a plurality of hooks 17, 18 which engage slots 6, 7 or 21, 22 in a wall mounted bracket 1-7 or 19-23, the number of hooks being equal to the number of slots, and the bracket including at least one pair of holes 5 or 23 disposed on opposite sides of the slots to receive fixing screws. In one embodiment, Fig. 1, the bracket is in the form of a trough and the holes 5 are provided in the base 1 of the trough. Alternatively, Fig.2 (not shown) the screw holes (10) are provided in side flanges (9) of the trough. Alternatively, Fig.3 (not shown) the wall bracket is U-shaped with outwardly extending flanges (11) at the free edges of its side limbs (14), the screw holes (12) being provided in the flanges (11). In a further embodiment, Fig.5, the slots 21, 22 have a width equal to the spacing apart of the side limbs 19 of the bracket and substantially equal to the thickness of the shelf support arm 16.
