Abstract

The shelf (R1) is attached at both ends to the devices (5), and held by retaining screws (6) passing through the devices. The assembly is supported by screws (7) passing through tapped holes in the upper part of the device, the holes being inclined so as to point outwards and downwards. Variations include extension of the devices beneath the shelf, or symmetrical devices with a central groove into which the shelf fits. In each case the tips of the screws (7) are forced into walls or partitions (M2) to produce wedging forces.
