Abstract

1488140 Wrenches C A V Ltd 13 Dec 1974 54116/74 Heading B3N A wrench for turning nuts on high pressure pipes comprises a tubular socket head 10 having internal nut-engaging formations 11a, Fig. 3, and an elongated axial slit 14 in one side for passage of the pipe therethrough. An elongated cut-away portion 15 in a shank portion 11 is aligned with and communicates with the slit 14 to allow partial rotation of the wrench relative to the pipe. A driving member 12 is provided with an aperture 13 for a towing bar and a square recess in the end not shown for receiving a complimentary shaped member such as a ratchet wrench output shaft.
