Abstract

1485632 Shelf support clip ILLINOIS TOOL WORKS Inc 1 Nov 1974 [27 Nov 1973] 47458/74 Heading E2A A shelf support clip comprises a flat base 24, a hooked projection 26 extending therefrom to engage apertures 14 in a vertical support 12, a second projection 28 coplanar with the first to engage a second aperture 16 in support 12, one or more flanges 40 in plane(s) parallel to that of projections 26, 28 and preferably extended at 42 to engage shelf 18, and a resilient finger 52 cranked so that its tip lies on the side of the base away from the flange(s). The plane of the projections 26, 28 is preferably offset from the central longitudinal axis of base 24 so that two such clips may be located in the same apertures 14, 16 on the vertical support 12.
