Abstract

1484189 Moulding containers MUNKSJÍ AB and PELLY AB 4 Nov 1974 [5 Nov 1973 14 Oct 1974] 47684/74 Heading B5A [Also in Division B8] A plastics container may be formed on a wire frame (see Division B8) by vacuum forming. Frames in the form of baskets are fed by a conveyer 61, and plastics sheet is fed from a supply roll 62 into a space between a vertically reciprocable knife member 56 and a chamber 41 provided with evacuating means 43, and heating means if necessary. Blanks from the sheet are drawn into engagement with the baskets, the resultant containers being discharged by a conveyer 64.
