Abstract

1483974 Metering apparatus SPRIBAG AG 13 May 1975 [31 May 1974] 20003/75 Heading B8N A pneumatic feeder-dispenser for bulk material such as mortar, concrete, sand, gravel &c. which may be wet, comprises a rotor 3 provided with a set of chambers 5 each provided with an elastic lining 19 to prevent sticking of the material. The lining may be a tube held by flanged ends 24 by plates 10, 11 to the rotor 3 or may be sprayed on to the wall of the chamber. The chambers are filled sucessively from a hopper 33 and discharged by air from a duct 31 along an outlet 47. The rotor is indexed or continuously rotated. The chambers may be arranged obliquely to the axis of the rotor. Each lining may be conically tapered downwards to aid discharge.
