1483463 Producing manganic alum electrolytically OXY METAL INDUSTRIES CORP 1 Aug 1974 [1 Aug 1973] 34010/74 Heading C7B [ Also in Division C2] A solution containing manganese sulphate, potassium sulphate and sulphuric acid is electrolyzed at a voltage of 2.8-4.5 volts and at 15 amps per gallon using a lead sheet anode and a cathode having an area ratio of 3:1 to obtain a manganic alum in which the manganese is in the +3 valency state.
