Abstract

1481824 Rear view mirrors RAYDYOT Ltd 29 July 1975 [7 Aug 1974] 34713/74 Heading B7J A mirror assembly for use on a vehicle towing a wide load such as a caravan comprises a stem having a first limb 10 provided with spaced apart clamps 16 to be attached to the vehicle roof gutter 18, and a second limb 14 integral with and extending generally transversely relative to the first limb and carrying a mirror head 20. Two stay members 30, 24 extend generally transversely of the first limb 10, strut 24 being connected to an inclined intermediate portion 12 of the stem and both members 30 and 24 having rubber pads 36 and 28 respectively at their free ends to contact the vehicle bodywork.
