Abstract

1480933 Folding screen DYNAFLAIR CORP Ltd 11 Oct 1974 [11 Oct 1973] 44060/74 Heading E1J A screen which is foldable in accordionfashion comprises a plurality of panels 12 hinged together along their vertical edges 13. The screen is suspended from a trackway by support rods 19 held in the bore 21 centrally placed in the panel. The edges of the panels have an enlarged tubular bead 13 secured in the bore 25 and slot 26 of the hinge members 15. A connecting rod 17 passes through the cylindrical bores 18 of the hinge members pivotally interconnecting the panels. The concave surfaces 27 of the hinge members abut the edge 13 of the adjacent panel when the screen is fully extended. The panels are preferably of plastics but may be steel aluminium or wood and the hinge members are plastics or aluminium.
