Abstract

1479346 Transformers and inductors PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 11 Sept 1974 [14 Sept 1973] 39692/74 Heading HIT A inductive device comprises a coil 5 on a ferromagnetic laminated core 1 which is provided with clamping brackets 9, 11, 13 of a synthetic material such as polycarbonate which is injection-moulded about parts of the core while the stack of laminations is under compression. The core 1 is provided with a hole 15 at each corner which is filled with said synthetic material to form anchor bars 17 integral with the clamping brackets. Mounting legs 19 formed on the clamping brackets are provided with openings 21 to receive self-tapping screws or may be provided with moulded-in nuts or bolts, or moulded-on eyelets or resilient hooks.
