1467580 Chain tensioners BERGWERKSVERBAND GmbH 10 Dec 1975 [5 Feb 1975] 50678/75 Heading F2Q A chain tensioning device comprises a magnetic roll 5 disposed adjacent a chain wheel 3 and adapted to attract the chain 41 and maintain it in tension between the chain wheel 3 and roll 5. The magnetic tensioning roll 5 may be provided with its own drive which may be connected to the drive of the machine. The tensioner may be applied to a chain scraper conveyer or a coal cutting machine.
