Abstract
1462784 Hot water systems for domestic supply and central heating WARMLIFE Ltd 11 Feb 1974 [28 April 1973] 20311/73 Heading F4A A hot water system for domestic supply and central heating comprises basic units mounted in a parallelepipedal framework: as shown in Fig. 7, a balanced flue boiler 41 which may be gas or oil fired or electrically powered; a cold water supply tank (behind panel 60); and a unit made up of a domestic hot water tank 15 containing an indirect heating coil 16, Fig. 3, a pump 45 which circulates water from the boiler through the coil and through a radiator system (connected at 43, 46), and an automatic control 50 for the central heating and domestic water responsive to a room thermostat. The cold water supply tank (Figs. 4, 5, 6, not shown) has one corner partitioned off to define an expansion tank for the central heating circuit and has two truncated corners to accommodate pipe connections. A framework part 10 (see also Fig. 1, not shown) has two compartments to hold boiler and hot water tank. Other spatial arrangements (Fig. 8, not shown) are described.
