Abstract

1459671 Resilient mountings METZELER GUMMITECHNIK GmbH 7 March 1974 [23 March 1973] 10312/74 Heading F2S A resilient mounting, comprising at least one spacer bush 2, two rubber elements 3, two plates 8, a support member 1, a fixing member 6 and metal supporting rings 4, wherein the rubber elements 3 surround the bush 2 and are preloaded between the plates 8 and against the support member 1 by the fixing member 6 which passes through the bush 2 is characterized in that the rubber elements 3 are bonded to the metal supporting rings 4 which have openings 5 at least partly filled with rubber. The opening in the support member 1 may be circular, Fig. 1c (not shown), or elliptical, Fig. 1b (not shown), and the parts of the rubber elements within the opening may have a crosssection which is circular or elliptical, giving four possible combinations. The rubber within the openings 5 may project beyond the face of the metal supporting rings 4, Fig. 4 (not shown).
