Abstract

1455307 Alarm clocks GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 14 Nov 1973 [16 Aug 1973] 48440/74 Divided out of 1455306 Heading G3T An alarm clock mechanism is described, substantially similar to that of the Parent Specification, but the claims relate to the automatic resetting of the alarm, which is allowed to sound for a few seconds each minute, by means of a pawl lever 210 which is pivoted on a rod 240 coupled to the alarm shut-off lever 20 so that the latter is returned longitudinally to its latched, alarm off, position when the end of the lever 210 is engaged by an eccentric roller 220 on a gear 222. This gear rotates once per minute and the roller also actuates a minutes indicator cam (12) Figs. 2, 3 (not shown).
