Abstract

1453613 Offshore structures R GRAY 31 Jan 1974 [13 Feb 1973] 7034/73 Heading E1H A marine structure comprises a body 1 which has a circular shape in plan that varies in diameter over the height of the structure with the minimum diameter being located at a position which corresponds to the water surface level. The body has a base 3 for securing to the sea bed, a working platform 4 and a series of vertically inclined raking members 2 connecting the base and the platform for supporting the platform above the water surface, the members being symmetrically positioned and circumferentially reflected about the circumference of the structure.
