Abstract

1453515 Folding tables BREMSHEY AG 17 Jan 1974 [3 May 1973] 02238/74 Heading A4H A folding table comprises table top sections 9, 10 and 11, 12 hinged on horizontal axes to one another and to uprights 2, 3 at 13, the three outer edges of each section being embraced by a U-shaped frame 15 having an inwardly facing slot (16) receiving said edges, each hinge comprising two plugs 14 pivotally interengaged by a pin (31) on upright 2 or 3, each plug 14 being inserted in the open end of the associated frame 15, the plug co-operating with the frame and with the table section edge to secure the table section with respect to the frame. In one form, the plug 14 has sawteeth 20 co-operating with the frame and a stop (22) co-operating with a recess (23) on the table section edge. Alternatively, the parts may be secured by a grub screw (27) or a spring tongue (32). The sections 9-12 are supported by folding frames 36 when horizontal.
